Art at ICA

Art:

Students in Pre-K through Grade 8 participate in weekly art classes in which creating their own work using different mediums and techniques is combined with the study of various artists, styles and art from different time periods. Middle School students participate in the Berks County CYO Art Show and all students participate in ICA's very own Art Show and Sale.

Music at ICA

Students in Pre-K through Grade 8 participate in weekly music classes which combine the study of different genres of music and music history with learning about rhythm and reading music. Each class also prepares a performance for our Annual Christmas Show.

Interested students may participate in various choirs including Mass Choir and Gloria Singers, as well as perform at various ICA events.

ICA also offers instrumental music through private piano and violin lessons given during the school day. Students may also study drums, woodwind and brass instruments during the school day and participate in group band performances through our partnership with Northeastern Music.
